From initial contact all the way to delivery, I have set out below the steps of how to order your perfect wedding cake...
Check your date is available
First things first, send me message using the enquire button below to check that your date is available. I'd recommend getting in touch at least a year in advance of your date.
Tell me a little bit about your wedding and the style of cake you would like so that I can provide you with an initial quote.
Even if I'm already booked, I will always respond to you to let know either way.
Secure your date
If you are happy with your initial quote and would like to book in with me it's time to secure your date in my diary with a £100 deposit. Details of how to pay will be displayed on your invoice and you will also receive a copy of my terms and conditions.
One received, you are locked in and now the fun part can begin!
Time for tasters!
This is the bit we all look forward to, the tasting!
I will invite you and your fiancé to my studio to try 6 delicious flavours, 4 of your choice and 2 surprise flavours. Be sure to notify me of any allergies ahead of your consultation.
At your consultation we will also talk more about the size of your cake and also the design so feel free to bring any mood boards with you. The more detail I have the better I can tailor your cake
I will do my best to accommodate your schedule but if a convenient date cannot be found go ahead an order a tasting box which will be sent to you for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.
Finalising your cake
After your consultation, I will get to work designing your dream cake. You will be sent a digital sketch which will show what your cake will look like. You will also receive an updated quote as required.
Once you've approved your design and accepted your final quote, you will be sent a final invoice. The balance of this invoice will be due one month delivery
Extra touches
I want to make this process as smooth as possible for my couple's and these extra touches do just that.
I will liaise directly with your wedding co-ordinator to arrange delivery and make sure that they have the information they need such as ingredients, allergens and a portioning guide.
I will personally deliver and set up your cake on the morning of your wedding, making sure that it is perfect for your arrival.
If your design includes fresh flowers, I will speak with your florist to ensure that the flowers used in your design match those in other aspects of your wedding, that there are sufficient stems available on the day for me to work my magic and of course, maintain food safety.
